Our Mission
At Enterprise Grange #489, our mission is to improve the lives of those in our community through the use of our building. Since 1912 our building has been a community meeting place for everything from a small 4H group meeting to to emergency community recon station for hundreds of firefighters. It has been the hub of activity for dances
At Enterprise Grange #489, our mission is to improve the lives of those in our community through the use of our building. Since 1912 our building has been a community meeting place for everything from a small 4H group meeting to to emergency community recon station for hundreds of firefighters. It has been the hub of activity for dances on Saturday nights, Talent shows, Chili Feeds, etc. Several different occasions over the years. We are planning much more. We would like to have a monthly breakfast, a monthly dinner and add more community service projects to our schedule. Right now we have a Summer Farmers Market every Sunday and Bi-monthly Bingo going. 4H meets weekly. We have an annual raffle fundraiser, we do a yearly yard sale and a free day for the community, Dictionaries for 3rd graders, We have filled back packs, last year we helped a family in need at Christmas, We do a Chili Cook Off, a Holiday Bazaar, We are working on starting a scholarship , We give discounts and try to help our community members, We did Canning classes last Summer. We would love to eventually have all kinds of clubs/groups come and meet and visit at the grange.So much more in the planning!
We are in process of starting a junior grange program for kids as well. We need more volunteers to finish everything!

Founded in 1912, Enterprise Grange #489 has been serving our communities for over 112 years. Back then the building was built because the valley needed a building where everyone could gather together and hold meetings, church, dances, etc. People would come on horseback or with their horse and carriage or walking to get to the grange. O
Founded in 1912, Enterprise Grange #489 has been serving our communities for over 112 years. Back then the building was built because the valley needed a building where everyone could gather together and hold meetings, church, dances, etc. People would come on horseback or with their horse and carriage or walking to get to the grange. Our organization was originally more agriculturally focussed and we still try to host farms for our markets to promote healthy nutrition and wholesome food. We also use those products in meals that we cook in our kitchen. Times have changed and now we are more of a community center building and a low cost rental for the community. We are here for the community. We do our best to support the community around us and help when we are able. Almost anyone who has been in the area for years has something positive to say about the Grange! Oh, the wonderful stories we have heard. We want to make a positive difference in our little part of the world. Our motto:

We offer a variety of projects during the year to meet the needs of our community, and have a lot in the planning stage. Unfortunately we are facing some problems with our old building. We need to make some costly repairs to the foundation and fix the damage caused to the building over multiple years. This is a priority we have to deal w
We offer a variety of projects during the year to meet the needs of our community, and have a lot in the planning stage. Unfortunately we are facing some problems with our old building. We need to make some costly repairs to the foundation and fix the damage caused to the building over multiple years. This is a priority we have to deal with before we can add more programs. We are in process of raising 85K right now to upgrade and fix the building. Right now we have several things going. Sunday Market, 4H club started, Pancake breakfast, Free yard sale day, Dictionaries for 3rd graders, helping a family at Christmas, Chili Cook Off, Holiday Market, working on starting a scholarship and we started having barn dances for the community. Our building is available to rent at low cost to the community. We also give discounts and work with our community members to help them have the ability to continue to achieve their goals. We would like our focus to prioritize on community service especially children and seniors in the area. Children are our future and seniors are our teachers.
